DISCRIMINATION

In addition to being immoral, discrimination in the workplace based on a protected class such as an individual’s race, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, ancestry and national origin is illegal under California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act (“FEHA”). An employer cannot subject any employee to any adverse employment action (such a termination, pay cut, demotion or a reduction in hours) based on an employee’s personal characteristics. As an employee you have the right to do your job and apply to jobs without fear that you will be subjected to discrimination based on your membership in a protected class. Mr. Henderson has successfully handled all manner of discrimination claims including claims of discrimination based on race, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, ancestry and national origin. If you were subjected to any adverse employment action based a personal characteristic please contact this firm for a free case evaluation.
